We're thrilled to unveil the latest addition to our Original Bell Collection, the Mission Wind Bell San Martin! This stunning new wind bell beautifully blends modern Southwest-inspired design with a touch of rich history, making it a truly unique piece for your outdoor oasis or indoor retreat.
At approximately 30 inches long (from the top of the hanging chain to the bottom of the sail) and with a 4-inch diameter body, the Mission Wind Bell San Martin is designed to make a statement. But what truly sets our Mission Bells™ apart is their craftsmanship. Unlike traditional cast bells, each Mission Bell is meticulously handmade from high-quality steel and repurposed materials. We then apply a special patina to create a breathtaking torched copper finish, ensuring that every single bell is a one-of-a-kind work of art.
A Nod to the Past: Mission San Martín de Ayacutu
The name "San Martin" for our new wind bell is a tribute to the historical Mission San Martín de Ayacutu. Established in 1608 in what is now Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Florida, this Spanish mission played a significant role in the region's history. Situated on the vital Camino Real, it was a hub for evangelization and Spanish influence, impacting the Timucua people through Catholic conversion and labor. While the mission ultimately met its end in the 1656 Timucua uprising, its story is a poignant reminder of a complex past.
Our Mission Wind Bell San Martin honors this history by evoking a sense of enduring strength and timeless beauty. It's a piece that not only adds visual and auditory delight to your home but also carries a whisper of stories from centuries past.
Bring home the Mission Wind Bell San Martin and let its unique charm and resonant tones enhance your space.
